I have purchased other birdling bags in the past. I own the weekender, along with the day tripper. Both were wonderful bags. So when shopping for another bag I thought birdling bag would be perfect! I was in the market for a second weekender to use as my hospital bag, after the arrival of baby number 3. I received my bag yesterday. The shipping was beyond quick. The bag was so much lighter in weight. The canvas much thinner. The interior thinner with lack of mesh pockets from the previous bag. And the. Ah even appears smaller. I did know the interior dividers had changed. But was beyond disappointed when the entire quality of the bag changed. I wrote into customer service- asking if there was anything I could do. And explained I was disappointed in the quality. That I was a repeat customer. I would even be willing to exchange for the older style had they still had one available. I received a generic response. Basically saying because I used the code Merry. All sales are final. (which yes, was posted) And that was that. I worked retail many years, and lately I am beyond disappointed with how people are handling their customer service. I will no longer support birdling in the future. And I advise you do careful research when purchasing an expensive bag for the future.
Disappointed is a complete understatement.
